To ensure that everyone is safe in an environment where there are numerous electrical connections and trailing wires please note the following;
1) An electricity supply of 230volts, minimum 30 amps, protected by fuse / circuit breaker, is required to supply the band amplification and lighting equipment.
2) Two 13 amp sockets are required, this must be considered as an absolute minimum.
3) In situations where electrical power is not being directly supplied from a fixed mains electrical outlet, i.e. from a generator or by extension lead from a remote mains electrical outlet, heavy duty cable must be used.
4) MOST IMPORTANT: Where use is being made of an extension lead, or leads, these MUST be completely unwound to avoid the possibility of overheating and thermal cut out.
5) At venues where there are young children present, parents should ensure that children are kept away from the electrical sockets and leads located around the stage area.
